How the math works

Construction speed bonuses shorten the timer rather than subtract a flat amount. With a 50% bonus a 30-hour build becomes 30 ÷ 1.5 = 20 hours, not 15. That is why stacking bonuses has diminishing returns per percentage point.

Speedups are added up in minutes and compared with the real timer. If you have more than you need, the calculator shows the surplus so you can save it for the next build or an event that rewards speedup use.

Tips for planning upgrades

Start long builds before you log off so the timer works while you sleep.
If an event awards points for spending speedups, holding them for that window is often worth more than using them today.
Use the shortfall table to decide which resource to gather or buy first.
